Coordinating weddings was a natural progression for MJ Triebold, Event Planner, upon moving to the Charleston area when her husband transferred with his radio job.  She has been a Project Manager, Catering Director & Event Planner for 20+ years, both independently and corporately, and has planned weddings in Savannah, Augusta, Hilton Head Island and Charleston. From 50 attendees to 2500+, from fundraising events to grand openings to weddings, it’s all in the details, and MJ will walk you through it every step of the way! Highly professional and very thorough, MJ joins her husband, William “Bill West” Triebold, in BridesFirstDance, which originally began as a DJ company, to offer a much needed service and round out their offerings: DJ, Photo Booth & Wedding Planning.

With special attention given to creating an atmosphere of fun, & sophistication, "Bill West" brings 20+ years' experience in the radio and music business, programming some of the largest country radio stations in the southeast; but that doesn't mean he just plays country! Incorporating all music genres, he has hosted hundreds of weddings to date.

Michael Beard

“Magic Myke”, originally from Raleigh, who now calls Mount Pleasant, SC home, Michael Beard is a fun-loving, family man.  If he's not DJing a party he’s out with the Shem Creek Boogie Band, where he sings lead vocals, plays guitar and trumpet. He has emceed many weddings & events and knows how to keep a wedding on schedule, so he will definitely make your celebration a memorable one!
